Robin Williams scored a second-half hat-trick as England got off to a winning start at the Blind Football European Championships in Hereford.
Goals from Roy Turnham and Dan English gave the Three Lions the lead before half-time.
Substitute Williams scored twice early on after the break before a second from English, followed by Williams’s third and a goal from skipper Keryn Seal rounded off the victory.
The hosts made a strong start and took the lead after an early goal from Turnham.
England doubled their lead a few minutes later when English blasted a free kick past Poland’s goalkeeper Grzegorz Jakubowski.
After the break, the Three Lions continued to dominate with two quick goals from Williams and a second from English.
England continued to dominate but were denied by some fine saves from Jakubowski.
Williams eventfully beat the Polish keeper to secure his hat-trick and with a few minutes remaining Seal scored England’s seventh to round off a dominant performance.
