India beat England by 55 runs in the second T20 in India.earlier today.
England captain Ed Hossell won the toss and elected to field first.
England got off to a flying start with skipper Hossell taking a wicket with the first ball of the game.
Hossell (2-24) and Justin Hollingsworth (2-31) struck an excellent opening bowling partnership to restrict the hosts to 66 for 4 in 8 overs.
After 10 overs India were 81 for 4 as their top order struggled to cope with the Three Lions bowling attack.
India’s captain Reddy scored 90 and put on an unbeaten partnership of 106 with Bhue who scored 51 as India finished on 217-5 from their 20 overs.
England opener Matt Page was dismissed for 4 after he was caught. Hossell scored 43 from 37 balls before being caught & bowled by Durga, with the score 78-3 entering the 12th over. England collapsed from 78-2 to 93-7 when Hollingsworth (12) was bowled by Chaudhaoy.
Lower order cameos from Ashfari (26), Rory Hossell (15) and Luke Sugg (15) managed to push the team total to a respectable 162 for 9 off their 20 overs.
India lead 2-0 and win the series with the final game taking place tomorrow before Sri Lanka join both teams for a Tri-Series.
